In the article on the website addweek titled, “No Matter Who Wins, the 2020 Presidential Election Won’t Drastically Shift Brand Strategy”
Author Ryan Barrick explains how brand marketing won’t go or change because of the election, especially if a brand remains neutral. The biggest problem nowdays with this is most brands are choosing to take sides on many issues.https://www.prdaily.com/brands-can-no-longer-be-neutral/ I haven’t seen many brands choosing sides on the election, shown is the one brand I know that has sided with a candidate which is Goya and President Donald Trump. There are still a few months left until Biden officially takes over our presidential office and Trump steps down. During these months I can predict some out-roar by brands if Trump refuses to step out of office like he has stated. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/09/donald-trump-get-rid-of-ballots-wont-le RIght now not many brands are choosing sides on the election and I personally think that it is a smart move to remain neutral because politics is always changing and there is no way we can predict what the world’s popukar opinion will be in 10 years from now.
