One of Netflix’s newest series, “Emily in Paris” is a unique show about a Chicago marketing executive who picks up her life and heads out to Paris, France ( the city of love) https://travelcenter.io/france/paris/why-is-paris-called-the-city-of-love to follow a job opportunity as a social media marketer. She learns how to work at this new job extremely quickly and picks up on the work becoming one of the best at what she does. There are many things in this series that are shown from a PR side of the show. You see different strategies used and some other things that aren’t as accurate as you would think. Emily working by herself on all of her projects is extremely unrealistic and doesn’t actually happen in the world of PR or marketing, someone is always reporting to someone else. https://www.shiftcomm.com/insights/understanding-basic-agency-organization/ Although the show was entertaining in a sense it was unrealistic to me personally especially because I am studying public relations.
