In this day and age business and brands must start showing true interest in the greenhouse gas emissions they are giving out. https://press.aboutamazon.com/news-releases/news-release-details/amazon-announces-2-billion-climate- We have seen large business like Amazon make the call to switch to eventually only relying on renewable energy. The next large company we are watching go through the process of becoming a regenerative business is Walmart. Walmart plans to completely decarbonize their operations globally by 2040. Walmart has and always been a business known for its value, it’s reliability, the fact that you know anything you can buy at Target you can get at Walmart for a little cheaper. This decision to switch to becoming a regenerative business, aligns with its core values of trying to do what’s best for the not just the business, but for the customer too. https://careers.walmart.com/valuesI do believe that they will finish this in time because it is something that needs to be done and will need to be done by that time.
